Lynwood Lord is a nature photographer and editor/writer based in Santa Monica, California, and Media, Pennsylvania.   

Currently, Lyn works with UCLA's Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) in Los Angeles and Drexel University in Philadelphia. In the past, he has worked with Ken Wilber to advance Integral Theory and helped researchers at UCLA develop and promote behavioral interventions for children and families. He has co-authored articles in journals such as Public Health Reports, the Journal of Clinical and Consulting Psychology, and Vulnerable Children and Youth Studies. His photography and writing have appeared in magazines such as Backpacker, Resurgence, and Budget Travel, and he has won or placed highly in photography contests sponsored by the Nature Conservancy.
