Lynwood Lord is a nature photographer and writer based in Santa Monica, California.
After turns as a medical books editor, technical writer, and GIS technician, Lyn joined the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM), where he currently works with the Pacific Southwest chapter. Prior to joining NNLM, he spent several years working with Ken Wilber to advance Integral Theory and helping UCLA researchers develop and promote behavioral interventions for youth and families. He has co-authored articles in journals such as Public Health Reports, the Journal of Clinical and Consulting Psychology, and Vulnerable Children and Youth Studies. His photography and writing have appeared in magazines including Backpacker, Resurgence, and Budget Travel, and he has won or placed highly in several photography contests sponsored by the Nature Conservancy.
